A.J. Green gets stiff fine for last Sunday's altercation

A.J. Green was fined $42K by the NFL for his involvement in Sunday's altercation with Jacksonville CB Jalen Ramsey which led to both players being ejected. Green told reporters, "I accept my fine and I’ll pay it and move on,” Green said, “I did something I wasn’t supposed to do. Now I have to accept the consequences.”And added, "I apologized to the people I hurt and my family,” he continued. “That’s not who I am. I just can’t go out there and blackout like that. That was not professional. That’s not who I am and the reflection of my family, that’s not who we are. That will never happen again.” (Jay Morrison/Dayton Daily News)
