Jermaine Kearse leads Jets receivers in targets for second straight week

by Mike Esposito | Mon, Nov 13th 11:19am EST

Jermaine Kearse caught four of eight targets for 35 yards in the Jets’ Week 10 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact:

It’s the fourth week in a row that Kearse has been held under 40 yards receiving, and he has clearly taken a backseat to both Austin Seferian-Jenkins and Robby Anderson in New York’s passing attack. While his lack of production in recent weeks is concerning, Kearse is still seeing a surprisingly high amount of targets to warrant a start in deep PPR leagues. Kearse should be considered a desperation WR3/Flex play against the Carolina Panthers when the Jets return from bye in Week 12.
