Lamar Miller registers season high in touches

by Pat Lenihan | Sun, Nov 19th 6:12pm EST

Lamar Miller rushed 22 times for 61 yards and caught 4-of-5 passes for an additional 22 yards and a touchdown in the Texans’ Week 11 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Impact:

The 26 touches are a season high for the veteran who after being bottled-up a little bit early on was able to get things going at the end of the first/start of the second quarter. Miller’s touchdown reception came from seven-yards out and was his third receiving touchdown of the season. The three receiving touchdowns are a new career high for Miller. Miller ceded work to D’Onta Foreman in the second half, but is still the lead back in the Houston backfield. Miller will once again be a volume based RB2 in the Texans’ Week 12 matchup on Monday night in Baltimore.
