Jacksonville Jaguars Defense lights up 4th quarter in snowstorm

by Mark Leipold | Jaguars Correspondent | Mon, Nov 20th 4:19pm EST

The Jacksonville Jaguars D/ST turned in another monster performance thanks to a game-sealing fumble return TD in the 4th quarter. The unit allowed 7 points and only 184 yards. The Jaguars recorded five sacks and 5 turnovers (5 fumbles forced, 3 fumbles recovered, and two interceptions).

Fantasy Impact:

It was certainly less-than-ideal conditions for both offenses, as the Jaguars also fumbled five times, though only lost one. Normally, this game could be counted as an outlier given the matchup and weather, but the Jaguars Defense has been the best in the league this year by a wide margin, and that should continue. The Jaguars travel to Arizona next week, where they'll face either Drew Stanton or Blaine Gabbert. They'll be an elite option at the D/ST position. Their fantasy playoff schedule is Seattle (home), Houston (home) and San Francisco (away), which is extremely favorable. It may actually be worth trading for the Jaguars D/ST, as they could put up monster numbers down the stretch.
