Melvin Gordon underwhelms with 88 total yards against Dallas

Melvin Gordon gained 65 yards on 21 carries against the Cowboys in Week 12. He added three receptions for 23 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
The Cowboys were without their star linebacker Sean Lee, which gave Gordon an opportunity to have a huge day. However, Gordon was unable to make defenders miss or break off any big runs against Dallas' weak defensive unit. The game is indicative of his role as a fantasy player, as despite his seemingly low talent, Gordon will remain a volume-based RB1 in a dynamic offense. He faces the Browns' respectable run defense in Week 13.
