Nathan Peterman in concussion protocol

by Keith Kraska | Saints Correspondent | Sun, Dec 10th 4:56pm EST

Nathan Peterman completed 5 of 10 passes for 57 yards and a touchdown Sunday before leaving Buffalo's snowy game against Indianapolis after a hard hit to the head in the third quarter. He also ran four times for 10 yards. Coach Sean McDermott said after the game that Peterman is in concussion protocol.

Fantasy Impact:

The best thing that can be said about Peterman was that he didn't throw any interceptions, after tossing five picks in the first half of his one previous NFL start a few weeks ago against the Chargers. He did as well as could be expected in a game that was played on the planet Hoth, as a lake-effect squall dumped a foot of snow on the field. His touchdown was a nicely thrown 8-yarder to Kelvin Benjamin. With the Bills still in the playoff hunt, Peterman's status for next week depends more on Tyrod Taylor's health than his own. Fantasy owners can still ignore him.
