Alex Smith held out of the end zone against the Raiders

by Matthew Fox | Mon, Dec 11th 12:15pm EST

Alex Smith completed 20-of-34 passes for 268 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception in the Chiefs' Week 14 win over the Raiders. Smith added five carries for 24 yards.

Fantasy Impact:

Alex Smith played well in this game as the Chiefs moved the ball down the field with ease against the Raiders. The no touchdown result can be attributed to some tough luck. Smith narrowly missed out on what could have been a four touchdown game. Kelce was ruled just short of the goaline on a pass, a passing touchdown to Kelce was overturned due to a penalty, and two potential touchdowns were dropped by both Harris and Kelce. The Chiefs will take on a red-hot Chargers team next week in a pivotal division game. The Chargers' dynamic pass rush could give Smith some serious trouble. Smith was held to just 155 passing yards the last time these two teams met. Start Smith at your own risk.
