San Francisco 49ers D/ST hold short handed Rams to 13 points

The San Francisco 49ers D/ST came away with two fumble recoveries, three sacks on five quarterback hits while holding the Rams to 251 total yards and 13 points in Sunday's victory.
Fantasy Impact:
49ers D/ST was never really an option in fantasy all year long, mostly to blame for that was their lack of ability to generate turnovers and lack of a pass rush. The last few weeks of the season however, the D/ST unit stepped it up and had a few decent weeks. Still, not a defense people will be targeting next year, but they have some solid pieces in place to build around and with a good free agency they could develop into an interesting streaming D/ST in 2018.
