Golden Tate ends season on a high note with 104 yards and a score

by Brad Richter | Mon, Jan 1st 11:30am EST

Golden Tate caught all seven of the balls thrown his way in Sunday's season finale for 104 yards in the Lions' 35-11 victory over the Packers. Tate took one pass all the way for a 71-yard score late in the third quarter as he ran down the sideline an eluded a defender to reach paydirt.

Fantasy Impact:

Tate has become a super consistent receiver since joining the Lions as he reached 90 receptions for his fourth straight season and exceed 1,000 for the third time with 1,003 this year. His upside is capped due to his touchdown limitations as he has snagged 4-to-6 scores in each of his last four seasons. Tate has one year left on his contract with the Lions and will look for his fifth straight 90-catch season, although with a new coach and improving offensive weapons around him, he may be challenged to reach that threshold.
