Kerryon Johnson declares for 2018 NFL Draft

Kerryon Johnson will skip his senior season at Auburn University to enter the 2018 NFL Draft. (ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Johnson filled in as the workhorse after the team's rushing leader from 2016, Kamryn Pettway, went down with a shoulder injury. Johnson averaged 4.9 yards per carry in both his sophomore and junior season. While he did not add much in the receiving game, Johnson was a force on the ground. He's ranked as the 7th-best RB prospect by Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN, and fits a similar mold as Leonard Fournette's college profile, though less highly touted. Johnson looks likely to be a Day 2 pick, and seems most likely to be a 2-down back in the NFL, which is an asset that is diminishing in value for fantasy owners. His value depends largely on his landing spot in the draft.
