AJ McCarron wanted opportunity to start

AJ McCarron told reporters that he wanted an opportunity to start for the Browns this season. He specifically said that he was interested in joining Hue Jackson in Cleveland. (AL.com)
Fantasy Impact:
While the trade to the Browns ultimately failed, McCarron has made it increasingly clear that he wants an opportunity to start in the NFL. It appears that he's preparing to do everything he can this offseason to push for a chance to start. Considering Andy Dalton's presence, that would need to be elsewhere. While he wouldn't immediately be on the Q1 radar, owners in 2QB leagues could try and buy low on McCarron this offseason in the hopes that he is able to sign elsewhere as a starter for 2018.
