Sam Darnold to enter 2018 NFL Draft

Sam Darnold will forgo both his junior and senior season at the University of Southern California (USC) to enter the 2018 NFL Draft. Darnold played two seasons after red-shirting in 2015. (Sports Illustrated)
Fantasy Impact:
Darnold is widely viewed as one of the top QB prospects in the solid crop for this year. He completed 63.1% of his passes for 4143 yards, 26 TDs, and 13 INTs in his final season at USC. He finished his career with a solid 8.5 yards per attempt. Darnold adds a little with his legs, notching 137 attempts for 332 yards and 7 TDs in two seasons. Darnold's numbers are strong, and look good compared to some of the other prospects in the class. He appears more pro-ready than the likes of Josh Rosen and Josh Allen. While all three will likely be high first-round picks, Darnold seems the most likely to make an immediate impact. Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson are also in that conversation.
