Ben Roethlisberger to play beyond contract?

Pittsburgh Steelers beat writer Ed Bouchette is reporting QB Ben Roethlisberger is expected to extend his career beyond his current contract. (Ed Bouchette on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Bouchette wrote that Steelers owner Art Rooney told reporters that Roethlisberger “wants” to continue his playing career beyond his current contract — he has two years remaining in the deal — and could try to hammer out an extension in the future following the 2018 season. And while this news could put any retirement rumors on hold for a while, nothing would be set in stone — Roethlisberger has contemplated retirement in each of the past few seasons. The Steelers should really be focusing on the Le’Veon Bell situation as their top offseason priority.
