Larry Fitzgerald to return in 2018

According to Ian Rapoport, Larry Fitzgerald has informed the Cardinals that he will return to play the 2018 season. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

This is what was expected all along, but it's good news for the Cardinals who get another year to build their wide receiver corps that will have a huge void once Fitzgerald leaves. Both Jaron Brown and John Brown are set to be unrestricted free agents, and Carson Palmer has already announced his retirement. This Cardinals offense will have a completely different look to it in 2018, and Fitzgerald's fantasy value will be highly dependent on the quarterback they bring in to replace Palmer. Considering the lack of talent around him, Fitzgerald is still likely to finish as a top 30 wide receiver, regardless of who is throwing him the ball.
