NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry will sign his franchise tag. (Ian Rapoort on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Landry is signing his franchise tag. However, he's signing it with the intent to accelerate a trade out of Miami, rather than remaining with the club, which at this point appears to be the unlikeliest of situations. Per reports, "several" teams view Landry as a WR1 -- Miami does not -- and will willing to pay-up to acquire him and lock him up long-term at a salary North of $16 million per year. With the Browns, Ravens, and 49ers amongst teams in the mix to land him, I'm expecting Landry to be on his way out of Miami by the upcoming NFL Draft. The 2017 league leader in receptions (112), Landry could be a machine with an upgrade at QB.
