Graham Gano could be tagged by Tuesday deadline

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting the Carolina Panthers will place the franchise tag on K Graham Gano if a long-term deal is not agreed to by Tuesday's 4 pm deadline. (Ian Rapoort on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Per reports, Gano and the Panthers have been griding out terms for a new long-term deal. However, with the deadline for teams to place the franchise tag on their respective players approaching rapidly -- it's less than 24 hours away -- it looks like Gano will be tagged to keep him from reaching the open market in case negotiates linger into the summer.Either way, expect Gano, one of fantasy's most consistent kickers since 2014, to remain in Carolina well into the back end of his career.
