Jason Witten planning to retire for MNF job

by Clinton H. | Fri, Apr 27th 12:42pm EDT

Jason Witten is planning to retire after 15 years to join the Monday Night Football broadcasting crew as a lead analyst. He'll meet with Jerry Jones before finalizing his decision. (Christ Mortensen on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Despite any previous reports of Witten planning to play in 2018, it sounds he's been given a great opportunity to join the broadcasting booth similar to his past teammate, Tony Romo. The Cowboys receiving corps is already greatly diminished with the release of Dez Bryant and Dak Prescott's stock would tumble a bit further without any proven pass catchers if Witten retires.
