The Detroit Lions will open minicamp with their second-round pick under contract as the club came to terms on a four-year deal with RB Kerryon Johnson. (Ian Rapoport via Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

Johnson showed three-down ability at Auburn, where he produced 1,585 scrimmage yards and scored 20 touchdowns in 2017. Detroit traded up to select Johnson with the No. 43 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and he's expected to be given every opportunity to win a significant role in a Detroit backfield that also has Theo Riddick, LeGarrette Blount, Ameer Abdullah, Zach Zenner and Dwayne Washington battling for playing time. Johnson is a first-round dynasty pick and a name to watch this summer in redraft leagues.
