Dez Bryant may sign with Packers?

On NFL Network's Around The NFL, new analyst Jason Witten said, "I think he's going to end up going to the Green Bay Packers," when asked about his former teammate Dez Bryant. (Jason Witten)

Fantasy Impact:

This is a dream scenario for all parties involved if there's truth to what he's saying. Bryant would give Aaron Rodgers another threat in the red zone, while Rodgers would give Bryant a quarterback who can get the ball into his hands. There's been a lot made about Bryant's inability to gain separation over the last few weeks, but truth be told, Bryant wasn't ever a receiver who was known to be a phenomenal route runner. His best work was done in one-on-one situations where he could bully the defender. Knowing the way Rodgers can place the ball on the back shoulder, it'd be a match made in heaven. Should Bryant land with the Packers, he should be considered a low-end WR2 with upside, as Davante Adams still holds the No. 1 role on the team. We'll continue to update Bryant as we learn more about his potential landing spot.
