Corey Clement wants bigger role in 2018

Bleeding Green Nation reporter Brandon Lee Gowton wrote that Eagles RB Corey Clement has packed on more muscle and spent time strengthening his legs in anticipation of earning a larger role in Philadelphia's crowded backfield this season. “I definitely want to get more touches, more carries, more catches out of the backfield this year. I want to be more of a key contributor," said Clement. (Bleeding Green Nation )
Fantasy Impact:
It could definitely happen. Clement only received 84 touches as an undrafted free agent, but managed to score six touchdowns in the regular season and had a 100-yard receiving game and another touchdown in the Super Bowl. Darren Sproles has been rumored as the nominal starter and Jay Ajayi is there to take first- and second-down carries, but Clement should have an opportunity to earn a larger role as the season progresses. He's an excellent late-round target in 2018 fantasy drafts.
