Lamar Jackson signs four-year deal with Ravens

The Ravens and QB Lamar Jackson have comes to terms on a four-year deal that includes a fifth-year option for Baltimore. Outgoing GM Ozzie Newsome traded back up into the final slot of the first round to nab Jackson as the club's QB of the future. (Ian Rapoport via Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Jackson has off-the-charts athleticism and massive upside. It will be hard for the club to keep the former Heisman Trophy winner off the field once he can adjust to the pro game and start making NFL throws. Joe Flacco has been a mediocre starter with a huge contract for years and may not be the starter for long if the coaching staff deems Jackson ready at some point in 2018. Lamar Jackson has the athletic profile of a Michael Vick or Deshaun Watson and that is likely to make him a significant fantasy contributor sooner rather than later.
