Wayne Gallman willing to return kicks
by Jody Smith | Wed, Jun 6th 3:19pm EDT
Second-year RB Wayne Gallman would welcome the opportunity to return kicks this season for the Giants, something he wanted to do at Clemson. "If I'll have an opportunity later on this year," Gallman said, "I'll be ready for it." (Chris Ryan via NJ.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Despite a solid rookie season in which he averaged 4.3 yards-per-carry and caught 34 passes, Gallman will be hard-pressed to receive regular touches behind No. 2 pick Saquon Barkley and free-agent addition Jonathan Stewart. Gallman is likely to play a change-of-pace role behind Barkley but is unlikely to receive enough touches to have any significant fantasy impact as long as Barkley is healthy.
