Curtis Samuel still not at 100 percent

The Charlotte Observer is reporting that second-year wide receiver Curtis Samuel is still not at full-health following the ankle surgery that he required at the end of the 2017 season. (Charlotte Observer)

Fantasy Impact:

They did say that he's been progressing throughout OTAs, but that he's still not at 100 percent. The surgery did take place in November, so it's not as if it's been a year, but it's still concerning considering the team is trying to learn a new offense. With D.J. Moore added in the first-round of the NFL Draft, you have to wonder just how big Samuel's role can be regardless, as he's now clearly behind Christian McCaffrey, Devin Funchess, Moore, Greg Olsen, and Torrey Smith for targets. He's nowhere near the redraft radar and he's losing appeal in dynasty formats as well.
