Josh Allen mixing in with first-team offense

by Jody Smith | Bills Correspondent | Wed, Jun 13th 6:48pm EDT

No. 7 overall pick Josh Allen spent more time practicing with the Bills' first-team offense during Day Two of minicamp. Allen was able to complete a 50-yard bomb and also hit Jeremy Kerley for a touchdown during red-zone drills. Overall, Allen's practice had the highs-and-lows that can be expected by a rookie quarterback but are a necessary part of his development. (Buffalo News )

Fantasy Impact:

Various reports have stated that presumptive starter A.J. McCarron has not fared well so far in Buffalo and that he's been outplayed by Nathan Peterman. The door is open for Allen to potentially open the season as Buffalo's starter if he can continue to make strides throughout the summer.
