Darren Sproles announces he will retire after 2018 season

Darren Sproles announced over the weekend that the 2018 season will be his last. He intended for 2017 to be his last season, reports Les Bowen of Philly.com, but he reconsidered after suffering a torn ACL that ended his season, wanting to leave the game on his own terms. (Les Bowen, Philly.com)

Sproles resigned with the Eagles in the Spring but returns to a crowded running back room in Philadelphia.
