Courtland Sutton drawing praise early in camp

Denver's Courtland Sutton is drawing rave reviews early in training camp. Coach Vance Joseph stated, "That's what we saw on his college evaluation. He is, right now, a 60-40 guy with the jump balls, and that is huge in this league. Most guys are 50-50, but he's a 60-40 guy. He is what we thought he would be. He's got strong hands, he's a big man and he's got a huge catch radius. For a quarterback, he's friendly. You can be off with the ball, and he can catch it for you." (Milehighreport.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Sutton is showing the skills that made him Denver's second-round pick in the first week of camp. The talented rookie has the frame and skills to have an immediate impact in the red zone if he opens as the WR3. He is a solid pick in dynasty and is worth a stash in deeper redraft leagues in the event of an injury to Demaryius Thomas or Emmanuel Sanders.
