Antonio Brown has minor hip flexor injury

by Matthew Terelle | Wed, Aug 8th 10:31am EDT

The Athletic's Mark Kaboly reported on Tuesday night that Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is dealing with a minor hip flexor injury. Kaboly cited the Instagram account of Brown's chiropractor, which posted "We are here working Antonio Brown helping him with a little hip flexor injury." (Mark Kaboly on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This helps clarify the mystery behind what has held Brown out of practice for much of the past week. He is expected to return to practice after the team's preseason game on Thursday night. A mild hip flexor injury is generally regarded as a 1-3 week injury, so Brown should be 100% by the start of the regular season.
