Vic Beasley defensive end conversion official

by Gary VanDyke | Thu, Aug 9th 6:40am EDT

Vic Beasley is officially listed as a defensive end after spending 2017 listed as a linebacker on Atlanta's first unofficial depth chart. (myajc.com)

Fantasy Impact:

Beasley's IDP owner should benefit from the change to a defensive end as long as the fantasy sites have also changed his designated position. If listed as a DE, Beasley should return to form with the IDP production he was able to produce in 2016. In that breakout season, he registered 43 combined tackles along with 15.5 sacks. He was well on his way to becoming a top option as a defensive end for fantasy football purposes. That progress was hampered in 2017 when Atlanta was forced to move Beasley to the strong side linebacker position due to depth chart issues.
