Deion Jones, Duke Riley, and De’Vondre Campbell listed as starters

Deion Jones, Duke Riley, and De’Vondre Campbell are listed as the starting linebackers for Atlanta in the first unofficial depth chart. Jones will have a new weakside linebacker flanking him in base packages with Duke Riley getting every opportunity to win the position. Campbell was promptly moved from the weakside to the strongside linebacker as a result of the situation. (myajc.com)

Fantasy Impact:

For IDP owners it is something that will have to play out throughout the preseason to see if Duke Riley can indeed impress and hold the job. If he does he will likely become relevant enough for fantasy owners to consider him as a weekly play. As for Cambell owners, this situation will leave it up in the air exactly what type of production he can produce from the strongside position. If he has any prowess at getting after the quarterback and producing sacks he just may save his IDP owners the headache of replacing him after a very strong 2017 season as the weakside linebacker. Known as the OTTO role in Dan Quin's style of defense Vic Bealey recorded mediocre results playing the position in 2017. Deion Jones returns as the middle linebacker and as one of the top options for IDP.
