Jerick McKinnon suffers muscle strain

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting San Francisco 49ers RB Jerick McKinnon (knee) suffered a "muscle strain" at Sunday's practice. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Per Schefter's source within the 49ers, McKinnon is "good and just [suffered] a muscle strain." This is the best-case scenario for McKinnon, as most 49ers fans and his fantasy football owners alike -- including myself -- feared the worst, especially after what went down with Derrius Guice only a few days ago. However, despite the good news, I don't expect to see very much of McKinnon in preseason action moving forward as the team will likely take the cautious approach to get to Week 1 of regular season play. McKinnon should still be targeted at his current second-round ADP in PPR.
