Sam Darnold impresses in Jets debut

Sam Darnold completed 13-of-18 pass attempts for 96 yards and a touchdown in his first appearance with the Jets. He added two carries for eight yards in the preseason opener against the Atlanta Falcons.
Fantasy Impact:
Darnold was the youngest quarterback in this draft, and as such was not expected to start immediately. However, he looks like he might be ready based on this performance. If he continues strong play through the preseason, it's a real possibility that he opens Week 1 under center. For now, though, it appears to be Josh McCown's job.
