Rex Burkhead has "slight tear" in knee

Patriots beat writer Jeff Howe is reporting that Rex Burkhead is dealing with a minor knee injury, and could have played through it if last night's contest was a regular season game. Burkhead did not play in the second preseason game against the Eagles. (Jeff Howe on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
From Howe's reporting, it sounds like the Patriots will opt to be cautious with Burkhead given that it's the preseason. However, it does not sound like there is any concern about his availability for Week 1 and beyond. With rookie Sony Michel also dealing with an injury, Burkhead could see plenty of work in a prolific offense. He could very easily be a screaming value and potential league-winner this season.
