Theo Riddick picks up 50 receiving yards in Friday's preseason game

Theo Riddick led the Lions in receiving on Friday with three catches for 50 yards. He hauled in all three targets with a long 42-yard catch and run in the first quarter. Riddick also had one carry for six yards in the 30-17 loss to the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
Riddick could see fewer carries this season with rookie Kerryon Johnson leading the backfield but Riddick should still be involved in the passing game as a trusted target for Matthew Stafford. Riddick has registered 53 receptions in each of the last two seasons and could be on his way to similar volume this season. He only has value in PPR leagues as a late-round bye-week fill-in.
