The Green Bay Packers are trading quarterback Brett Hundley to the Seattle Seahawks for a sixth-round draft pick, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport on Twitter. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The trade means Deshone Kizer has now cemented himself as the backup to Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, while Seattle probably views Hundley as a developmental quarterback behind starter Russell Wilson. Hundley is a mobile quarterback in somewhat of the mold of Wilson, so it's possible that head coach Pete Carroll believes that he can development Hundley into more than what we saw of him when he got opportunities to play in Green Bay.
