Updating a previous post about Bengals' running back Joe Mixon possibly needing arthroscopic surgery following a knee injury suffered in Week 2, ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted that Mixon had a small particle in his knee dislodged during the game and will have a surgical procedure on Saturday. Mixon is currently expected to miss two weeks. (Adam Schefter via twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is actually a huge sigh of relief for fantasy owners. Cincinnati's Week 2 game on Thursday may be beneficial to Mixon's recovery as it gives him three extra days of recovery time. The Bengals' next two games are at Carolina and Atlanta. Mixon could be back by Week 5 in time to play the Dolphins. Gio Bernard will a potential three-down player for the next two weeks and the top waiver wire add.
