DeAndre Carter waived by Eagles on Tuesday

Wide receiver DeAndre Carter was waived by the Eagles on Tuesday. In a corresponding move, the team promoted running back Josh Adams from the practice squad. (Philadelphia Eagles on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Eagles are already very thin at wide receiver, so waiving Carter seems like an odd move. That being said, running back Darren Sproles is out with a hamstring injury and Jay Ajayi left last week's game with a back injury, so they are also banged up at the running back position. Carter caught one pass for 10 yards in two games with the Eagles this season.
