Antonio Brown will be disciplined for missing team meeting

by Jody Smith | Thu, Sep 20th 8:18am EDT

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told the media that All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown would face an undisclosed disciple for no-showing a team meeting on Monday. “He and I met yesterday for an extended period of time. I’ll leave the nature of that conversation between us,” Tomlin said. “There was discipline involved for his missed meeting, for Monday. Some of the other things we talked about extensively. He’ll speak for himself on some of those things. Really, our focus is on preparing to win this game on Monday night.” Brown's checkered week included a relatively quiet game on Sunday where he was visibly frustrated on the sidelines, a "trade me" tweet, and blowing off Monday's meeting. Fantasy Impact:

Brown's teammates opined that there was a "100 percent" chance would play Monday night in Tampa, so whatever discipline he faces isn't expected to have much, if any fantasy impact. Brown will be a locked-in, top-3 wideout this week against a Bucs' defense that ranks in the bottom-10 of the league, allowing over 47 PPR points-per-game to opposing wide receivers so far in 2018.
