Ian Thomas remains quiet in Week 3

Panthers TE Ian Thomas caught 3-of-5 targets for 20 yards in Week 3's win over Cincinnati.
Fantasy Impact:
While Thomas is the clear-cut starter at tight end in lieu of Greg Olsen, he has yet to cash in as a reliable fantasy asset. However, he's drawn eight targets in the past two weeks, which means he will be in the mix. And while he is a rookie, there is only room to grow from here and build a rapport and a trust with Cam Newton. Next up for Thomas will be a plus matchup facing a Giants defense that struggles to contain the tight end in Week 5 -- Carolina has a Week 4 bye -- a game in which Thomas could finally get going and return a quality fantasy outing.
