Tyler Eifert placed on IR

Tyler Eifert has been placed on season-ending injured reserve. He suffered a gruesome ankle injury Week 4. (Bengals on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While Eifert's season is certainly over, it's fair to question if his career may also be done given the severity of the broken ankle he suffered Week 4. Without Eifert, the Bengals are expected to turn to C.J. Uzoma as their primary TE, though Tyler Kroft proved useful as a TD-dependent TE in 2017.
