Brandin Cooks (concussion) misses practice

by Jody Smith | Cowboys Correspondent | Wed, Oct 10th 7:47pm EDT

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks did not practice Wednesday and has still not cleared the league's concussion protocol. Cooks was, however able to participate in a walk-thru and seems to be recovering well. Rich Hammond of the Orange County Register tweeted that head coach Sean McVay feels good about Cooks and Cooper Kupp's chances of playing Sunday in Denver. (Adam Schefter via twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Cooks took a scary hit against Seattle and never returned to the game. It's good to hear that McVay is optimistic that Cooks will be in the lineup against a Denver defense that just got shredded by Sam Darnold. If he is able to start, Cooks would mostly see Adam Jones in coverage and will be a solid WR2.
