Carlos Hyde being traded to Jaguars

Fantasy Impact:

This move immediately affects the fantasy value of running back T.J. Yeldon, who was removed from the injury report on Friday. The bigger story, though, is what this means for Leonard Fournette. Fournette has already been ruled out for Week 7 due to a lingering hamstring injury, but it was believed that he might be able to return as early as Week 8. The addition of Hyde means the Jaguars either aren't comfortable with Fournette's progress or are adding some running back insurance so that they can be patient with Fournette's recovery. While Hyde is going from a struggling Brown's team to a playoff contender that likes to run the ball, he will have to learn a new offensive scheme while also sharing touches with Yeldon and, eventually, Fournette. With the move coming late in the week, it's unknown if he'll suit up for the Jaguars in Week 7.
