Lavonte David likely inline for expanded role after Week Seven win

Tampa Bay weakside linebacker Lavonte David may have received a boost in production in the Week Seven win over Cleveland after middle linebacker Kwon Alexander (knee) exited the contest right before halftime. And with Alexanders injury reportedly being a torn ACL tear the Tampa Bay Buccanneers will again lean on the veteran David going forward to be the main "cog" of the defense.

Fantasy Impact:

Considering that Kwon Alexander had seven combined tackles in one half and Davis had eight combined the entire contest, it is an example of explaining that David's opportunities are about to double going forward. In past history, David has been a solid LB1 when Alexander has missed contests. With Alexander, David is normally more of an LB2. It is a situation that favors Davids fantasy owners.
