Ito Smith logs nine Week 7 touches

Falcons RB Ito Smith rushed seven times for 16 yards and caught both of his targets for 29 yards in Monday night's Week 7 win over the Giants.
Fantasy Impact:
While Smith's three-game touchdown scoring streak was snapped, he did remain very much a part of the Falcons backfield with his nine touches. While Tevin Coleman is the clear cur RB1 right now, Smith's ceiling might be limited. However, the rookie has logged at least nine touches in four games this season, which is enough to garner slight fantasy relevance in the right matchup, which won't be in Week 9 as the Falcons will travel to Washington to take on a stout Redskins defense. The Falcons have their bye in Week 8.
