Denzel Ward continues impressive rookie season

Browns cornerback Denzel Ward recorded four tackles (all solo), one TFL, and two passes defensed in Sunday’s 26-23 overtime loss to the Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact:
Ward saw a lot of Bucs receivers DeSean Jackson and Chris Godwin during this one. The two combined for four-of-eight targets for just 28 yards against the brilliant rookie. Ward has been fantastic in his first seven games as a pro and could find himself as defensive rookie of the year when it’s all said and done. The Steelers are up next in Week 8 where Ward will see plenty of Antonio Brown throughout the day.
