The Chiefs have designated safety Daniel Sorensen for return from injured reserve. He is eligible to practice this week but can’t play in a game until Week 9. (ProFootballTalk)
Sorenson has been out since suffering a tibial plateau fracture in training camp. His return is a welcomed sight for one of the league’s worst secondaries which is also without veteran starter Eric Berry. Sorensen started 14 games in 2017 when he recorded 89 tackles, 1.5 sacks and an interception.
