Will Fuller does have torn ACL, out for year

by Mike Tagliere | Fri, Oct 26th 12:13pm EDT

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport has reported that Will Fuller did, in fact, suffer a torn ACL during their Week 8 win over the Dolphins. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

It's the news we were all expecting, but it doesn't make it any less devastating. Seeing that his injury happened right around the same time of year that Deshaun Watson's did last year, he should have a chance to make it back by the start of the 2019 season, though it'll be close. This will have a butterfly effect throughout the entire offense, as Watson hasn't posted nearly as good of numbers with Fuller out of the lineup. Not that he needs them to be productive, but DeAndre Hopkins is going to see 10-plus targets every game. And then Keke Coutee will have a bigger role upon returning from his hamstring injury. Don't expect the world and drop proven players for him, but he should offer weekly WR4 value in PPR leagues moving forward.
