Demaryius Thomas being traded to the Texans

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Texans are hashing out the final details in a trade for Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The details have yet to be released, but it's rumored to be a mid-round pick for Thomas. We've been hearing that he would likely be moved prior to the trade deadline, but the Texans weren't being mentioned, though it makes all the sense in the world with Will Fuller's season-ending injury. The Texans are currently 5-3 with a two-game lead in the AFC South, so losing a mid-round pick for Thomas should be considered a success. With Deandre Hopkins there to see the majority of targets, Thomas will clearly play second-fiddle to him, but should remain in the WR3/4 conversation throughout the remainder of the season. This move hurts Keke Coutee more than anything, as he'll be a matchup-dependent play moving forward. The obvious beneficiary is Deshaun Watson, who now has two top-tier wide receivers to throw to.
