Kareem Jackson: big hit sparks team to victory

Texans defensive back Kareem Jackson recorded four tackles and two passes defensed in Sunday’s 19-17 win over the Broncos.

Jackson has been playing great for the Texans all year but it was his huge third-quarter hit on Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay that was the talk of the day. "He is killing it," defensive end J.J. Watt said. "That hit was one of the hardest hits I have seen on a football field. It was clean. It was a great hit. He has been doing that all year." Linebacker Whitney Mercilus said it was the type of hit that gives the team a spark. “You get hyped," Mercilus said. "It gives you energy, it gives you momentum. That's a trickle effect. Man, he got a big hit. I need to go get me a big play, too." Jackson will look to continue making impact plays for his team against the Redskins following the Week 10 bye.
