Le'Veon Bell wanted by Steelers 'very badly'

Le'Veon Bell is reportedly in Pittsburgh ahead of the team's Week 10 contest against the Panthers. The Steelers reportedly want him back "very badly." (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Bell has until Tuesday to sign his tender or he will be unable to return this season. While this has been known, and he indicated he left Miami where he was working out earlier this week, the notion that the Steelers want Bell to return badly is a new bit of info. It would certainly benefit the team in theory to have the talented Bell on the roster, but James Conner has shown that he has been able to fill the void left by the All-Pro admirably. While a Bell return could help Pittsburgh overall, it would certainly make his value as well as Conner's murky moving forward. Two backs could co-exist in the high-upside Pittsburgh offense, but they would each cap the other's value if they were truly splitting carries and not using the bell-cow role Steelers' backs have become accustomed to.
