Saints WR Tre'Quan Smith was not targeted in Sunday's Week 10 win over the Bengals.
Fantasy Impact:
The fact that Smith was not targeted is alarming for his fantasy value moving forward. Not only did the Saints try to bring in Dez Bryant, who tore his Achilles in his first practice with the team, but they are also closing in on a deal with Brandon Marshall. It seems pretty clear that the Saints don't trust Smith and need greater stability at the WR2 spot than the upside rookie. While Smith could bounce back next week against the Eagles, he is hard to trust with minimal opportunities.
